Elite 67 MOC Images Released

Updated: Feb 4, 2019

Mattel's Elite line is only getting better and Series 67 is no exception. The lastest wave features not 1, but 3 brand new additions to the stacked arsenal of talent the toy company has presented over the years.

For the first time in the line's history, we'll get NXT Women's champion Shayna Baszler, NXT's folk hero, Velveteen Dream, and former WWE Cruiserweight champ Cedric Alexander. Joining them in the series are Elite fixtures Randy Orton and Rey Mysterio, as well as the charismatic enigma himself, Jeff Hardy.

Hardy will boast the unique honor of having the "chase variant" this time around. Collectors will be on the lookout for Jeff's U.S.A. inspired sleeves and makeup.

It's interesting to note that Baszler is the only figure in the set that doesn't include Mattel's freshly minted interchangeable appendages. Perhaps the NXT Women's title and neck towel will be enough to suffice most fans.

On paper, some would groan at the thought of yet another Randy Orton elite, but the new "True FX" headscan coupled with the instantly great hand models are more than enough to justify The Viper's inclusion in this set.

All in all, The Velveteen Dream gets the "Golden Gimmick" award for this wave. The headscan is a perfect capture of the NXT star. The fig includes unique hand-swaps, his mind's eye glasses and a cloth shirt, which will leave most figure hunters very pleased.

You can pre-order your very own Elite 67 set or individual release at ringsidecollectibles.com. The series is scheduled to ship Mid-March.
